It's been a shocking long time since I've updated this website, but I've been busy with life and enjoying it.
My main news is that I turned down a copy-editing job at a regional daily paper to take an assistant production editor position within the publishing group I work for. I'll be focusing on looking after our titles in Croydon and Surrey although I'll still have a hand in other newspapers across the South East.
I also moved home (to a flat a couple doors down), survived an exhilarating weekend at Creamfields 2010, saw some more live bands, among other stuff. Twitter is where I tend to post links and share other news these days.
I've also successfully taken up running to get into shape - it's taken some degree of dedication to get up before work and run (roughly) 5K three times a week (give or take a hangover) but wasn't as tough as I feared it would be. I wish I'd started a long time ago because I've lost weight, stopped eating snacks and drinking cola, scaled back the calorific booze intake, and I'm now generally feeling great.
Finally, I've been trying to pick up my hobby kernel project, diosix. I've started documenting it while summing up the energy to write some more code for it. I plan to blog about the updates made to it in a fairly frequent fashion, hopefully.
